It's Mommy!

Ello! I'm Amanda, the grower of the Bump. Let me tell you a few things about the bump. It's been a very wanted bump. We lost its brother or sister in February 2017 at 7 weeks. But! from that baby we found out that I have hypothyroidism and was put on meds and then a few weeks later I had to have emergency gallbladder surgery. Ugh and that was no fun at all. I can't imagine what that would have been like having to go through while pregnant. So I believe that our first baby came to help me be healthy to have our second and it's in Heaven in the best care ever and I'll see them again. I was of course worried that this time around this little person might not stay long either, and to be honest until I hit my second trimester which is only a few weeks away I think I'll still worry a little bit. So when I found out about our second little Bump I didn't really say anything at first. I went to the doctor to confirm it and I totally forgot that I linked mine and my...

Mommy didn't know what round ligament pain felt like, because it pretty much felt like someone stabbing her in the ovary. She thought that there was something wrong with her so off to the doctor for a check up. The doctor is so so nice and talked to her about all the upcoming things that are going to happen when you are growing a bump. It all sounded delightful, growing pains, constipation, peeing all the time, gestational diabetes etc. etc. etc. fun words!!!  Mommy was just glad that nothing was wrong with baby and the doctor even took her over to see me again. Surprise bumps grown some arms and legs!!  How about them apples! Mommy thought that was the best foot she'd ever seen in her life, and this bump has a strong heartbeat to boot! 8 weeks - 4 days old

In the Beginning there was a Bump

Although this bump was teeny tiny it was there. This bump with the help of God said I think I shall grow for a bit, this is a nice place it bounced around and thought it was a pretty cushie pad. Weeks went by and the bump went unnoticed like a cat that sneaks into a doggie door and steals naps on your fluffy couch. Then someone noticed the bump. They suspected that they were not alone and took a test. Yep they were positive they found the bump. "Caught ya!" the new mommy cried. You can't hide from me little bump I'm going to help you grow and stay safe and warm. So then the bump got vitamins and lots, and lots of water. And the bump grew and grew and the bump's new family and friends prayed for the bump to stay because they started to really love the bump and wanted to see who the bump grew into. This is the beginning of the bump. 6 weeks- 6 days old
